Thats an average of +21 damage, not counting the oother bonuses like favored enemies or ram's might. 6 levels of rogue gets you an additional 3 sneak dice. The other option is to ignore sneak dice and just take 2 levels of rogue for evasion, but i dont know how that split would work.ranger 6 + 11 points in deepwood stalker would get you 3 sneak dice and sniper shot. But it would definately do lower damage than my current rogue inquis build (less sneak dice, less +damage in the trees). For any build relying on sneak dice, sniper shot is too good to pass up. To be honest, the artificer trees and class features are not impressive at all.most of the spells have failed to keep pace with DDO's powercreep and the Battle Engineer tree is pretty lackluster.Įdit : Tested some stuff in DDO Builder and for an inquis build, im thinking my best option would be artificer 8/ranger 6/rogue 6. Any suggestions? Im pretty sure i want at least 2 rogue levels for evasion. I could use shadar kai to start at 15 or play from level 1 with a normal race. I have not decided on a race or class split either. I do not have access to feywild, saltmarsh or the horizon walker tree.Īm i right that without the horizon walker tree, repeaters are not significantly better than inquis? I think GXB is still worse than inquis as well? I am currently finishing rogue/PDK past lives with an inquis build and i was thinking of doing an artificer crossbow build next since most of the gear would be the same.
